P-Cards on Campus Conference
A Conference Designed by Higher Education for Higher Education. College campuses have been aggressive in creating organizations that make student transactions easier, but have been slow to adopt easier ways for Faculty and Staff to transact school business. Payment cards for purchasing, travel and fleet in addition to credit and debit cards are changing how schools do business. Purchasing cards are streamlining the purchasing process and reducing procurement costs. Travel cards are being combined with Purchasing cards to streamline the payment process. Acceptance of credit and debit cards are giving students and their parents new and more convenient options such as the internet and touch-tone phones to use in making payments to their institutions. College campuses have seen an explosion of student card programs over the past few years. Programs implemented even just a few years ago are being reworked to take advantage of new technologies/practices.
