Scottsdale, Arizona, November 7-10, 2010! In these challenging economic times it’s imperative that you increase your office efficiency and stay on top of the latest regulations and procedures. Pertinent topics and the presenters who actually perform the functions on a day-to-day basis have been selected for this conference. What makes this unique is the presence of so many people who are experts in the fields of Federal Loan and Receivables collections - rarely do you find this much expertise gathered in one place! Whether you are new to the business and looking for guidance or interested in taking a higher profile in higher education collections, the PDG Student Loan/Receivables Collection Conference is the place for you.

PRESENTATION MATERIAL
In an effort to reduce waste and decrease the use of paper products at the meeting, there will be no paper copies of session presentations or handouts at the event. One week before the conference, attendees will be provided with a web link to the available presentations. At that time, please review them and print any you would like to have at the conference. The presentations will be available online for 6 months after the event.
If you are unable to attend the conference but would like to purchase the presentation materials, complete packets may be purchased for $150. Presentation material will be mailed one week after the conference ends. There is a place on the registration form where you can specify presentation materials only. TOPIC: Bursar Basics with Emphasis on Customer Service Workshop
In a single afternoon workshop, you can listen to, participate in and laugh at some of the most significant issues facing the recently appointed or even the seasoned Bursar. Come prepared to interact with your fellow Bursars — asking for and offering insights into the functioning of the Bursars Office. This is not solely a lecture but an organized discussion among all the participants. Even an experienced Bursar might pick up a nugget or two.
INSTRUCTOR: BARRY GREENBERG
Barry worked at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) for nearly 16 years. He was most recently Bursar for SIUE for 8 years. Before that he held the position of Audit Manager for the SIUE and SIU School of Medicine campuses. During his tenure as Bursar, he oversaw SIUE’s conversion to E-commerce applications, establishment of a satellite Bursar’s Office and adoption of new customer service initiatives. Prior to SIUE Barry worked at AT&T for 22 years in the Accounting, Information Systems and Human Resources departments. In addition, Barry is an adjunct faculty member at Webster University teaching graduate finance classes.

COLLECTIONS 101 WORKSHOP
TOPIC: Collections 101: This workshop is designed for the employee new to the world of collections or for the person who wishes to improve his or her knowledge of the collection function. In fact, an experienced collector or manager of collections and accounts receivables would learn valuable nuggets of information as well. The workshop will cover: the path from billing to internal collections, due diligence, skip-tracing, effects of bankruptcy, relationships with external collection agencies and software to enhance the internal collections process.

Jeff Lanza, Retired FBI Special Agent
Jeff Lanza was an FBI Agent for over 20 years. During his tenure at the FBI, he investigated corruption, corporate fraud, money laundering, computer crime and organized crime. He served as head of internal security of the Kansas City FBI and as a regional spokesman.
Jeff has participated in hundreds of television, radio and newspaper interviews including appearances on The Today Show, Good Morning America, CBS This Morning, Larry King Live, Hannity and Colmes, Fox and Friends, CNN Primetime with Wolf Blitzer and National Public Radio.
He is a professional speaker who has provided over 750 presentations on the topics of crisis communication, ethics, identity theft, cyber-crime and more. He is also an FBI certified instructor who has trained numerous government agencies and corporate clients on how to handle the media tricks that the national television personalities such as Connie Chung and Chris Hansen used on him during his nearly two decades as a crisis communicator with the FBI.
Prior to his career as an FBI agent, Jeff was employed by Xerox Corporation as a Computer Systems Analyst. He has an undergraduate degree in criminal justice from the University of New Haven (Connecticut) and an M.B.A. from the University of Texas.

The registration fee for PDG's 31st National Student Loan/Receivables Collection Conference is $375. The fee includes three breakfasts, two luncheons, one reception, all refreshment breaks and all conference materials. If you plan to have two people attend for only part of the conference, each person must pay the full registration fee. Please note: the conference sessions, luncheons and breakfasts are for registered conference participants only.
Please complete and return the registration form as soon as possible. A check, purchase order, or credit card information should accompany the form. Or register online on our secure, credit card safe, server. Registration confirmation will be e-mailed within five business days of receipt. If an e-mail is not provided, standard mail will be used. If you do not receive a confirmation, please phone PDG to verify your registration before you depart for the conference. PDG will request payment at registration if your purchase order or payment has not reached our office prior to that time. REFUNDS
Requests for refunds will be honored only if notification of cancellation is received in writing (fax or email) on or before October 8, 2010. Cancellation by telephone is not sufficient. Registrants who fail to cancel will not be refunded their registration fee. A $50 administrative fee will be charged for all cancellations. No refund will be honored after the conference. Substitutions may be made if registrant cannot attend. Please notify PDG of substitutions by telephone at 812-339-6374, fax 812-339-0138 or email info@prodev.com.
CANCELLATIONS & SUBSTITUTIONS
In the event of cancellation or change in hotel or date, registrants will be notified by mail. Professional Development Group II, Inc. will not be responsible for expenses involved with a cancelled conference. PDG reserves the right to substitute speakers without notice.
