OVERVIEW
| The need for schools, colleges and universities to focus on cash flow and treasury management strategies has never been more important than now in this era of cutbacks, expense containment and a continuing focus on increasing productivity. Attendees at this two day seminar will learn how some fundamental treasury management practices, when applied to higher education business practices, can help them meet these challenges.
The course design provides for a highly interactive format and will cover a range of topics to include: (subject to change)
Financial concepts and liquidity management
An overview of the domestic payments system
Short-term investment alternatives and strategies
Revenue collection strategies
Disbursement strategies
Borrowing tactics and strategies
Effective management of financial institution relationships
Effective cash forecasting
These topics will be presented/discussed in a “user friendly” environment where the course instructor encourages questions to clarify, to understand and to challenge concepts. You will not want to miss this opportunity to expand your understanding of treasury management practices and how they can apply to your school, college or university.
Registration is limited to treasury, finance and accounting professionals at institutions of higher education. Space is limited and registrations will be handled on a first come, first seated basis. This seminar is run parallel to the Bursar's conference, but it is a separate entity and you will be attending sessions with Mark unless otherwise noted. If you have questions about the program or its content, please email them to: info@prodev.com.
The fee for this seminar is $560.
