Profile of a P-Card Abuser

Does this result in a compliant, audit exception free program? Evolution of a P-Card Program

In order to maximize purchasing power, streamline procedure, enhance safety, and increase P-Card rebate, Georgetown University has developed a branded on-line tool for booking travel.  This presentation will highlight the background, key decisions points, and motivating factors in the development of GTO.  Issues such as "duty of care," negotiating with airlines, and internal marketing will be discussed as well as how the P-Card is an essential part of the strategy.

Integrating Your P-Card Application with On-Line Training

With $19.3 million spend and 1,400 cardholders, the U of V needed an automated means to track successful completion of training before a P-Card is issued and annual refresher training requirements are met.

This presentation will describe the on-going challenge of managing a dynamic program yet maintaining a controlled environment by using data and communication to positively influence cardholder behavior.
