Letter from President

Welcome to Professional Development Group II. PDG has recently entered a new era in the successful history of the company. As of December 2004, my parents and the owners of PDG, Steve and Judy Beard have retired. And, as I take the leadership role of the company and begin to make my own changes, there will be many core aspects of the company that will not change. PDG has always and will continue to:

  • Provide great training content at a reasonable price
  • Choose unique locations that allow our attendees to safely enjoy their working vacations
  • Help facilitate communications between schools of all types and sizes
  • Manage all aspects of our meetings and those of our clients
  • Provide quality online content and cutting-edge training methods

PDG was started in 1986 by my father, Steve and my mother, Judy. They provided 18 years of quality content and meetings and I have no intent to change this quality reputation that PDG has developed. PDG II will continue to push the “conference” envelope with new ideas.

Our Mission Statement:
Professional Development Group strives to manage, produce and develop the highest quality conference and training events and effectively manage the associations that communicate to their membership through these annual events. In order to provide cost effective and appropriate training PDG utilizes multiple communication methods including: live interactive sessions, web-based video training, e-mail, phone communication and one-on-one interaction. PDG events provide practical information to management and staff that can be implemented on the first day back in the office. PDG understands implicitly that our attendees and members can choose to spend their revenue and time with other content providers and associations, we simply strive to provide the best and most personalized customer service available.
